These have brought me so much joy, I read them to my brother, who is ill, we are in the 4th quarter of our lives, and weren’t born till the early 50’s, but The Song Remains the Same. Things changed very little, it seems, and we talk about the things we did (sneaking in the parish hall side door for a complimentary soda, for instance). These very entertaining tidbits make my day, every day.
Denny, Thank you for your lovely note. I’m glad you and your brother are enjoying the stories and that they are connecting to you both. Please give him my best wishes. I was born in 1948, so I’m a bit ahead of you, though I’m not even born for a few more chapters. You and I have connected so often on Facebook that I feel like we are good friends. More to come… Catherine
